For nearly a century, our family has been building, investing, and operating businesses across industries and continents. From a construction company that helped shape Munich’s skyline—including facilities for the 1972 Olympic Games—to ventures in automotive, fuel retail, and large-scale real estate development, our entrepreneurial spirit runs deep.
Today, two generations continue this legacy at NXTWAVE Capital—bringing a global perspective, operational know-how, and long-term commitment to every business we partner with.
Dr. Florian Schuetz
Florian is an experienced entrepreneur, investor, and board member with over 25 years of building and scaling businesses worldwide. He has led, co-led, and participated in more than 25 acquisitions in Europe and the U.S., spanning industries from technology to consumer to education.
Before founding NXTWAVE Capital, Florian served as an active investor and board member at Cosinuss, a med-tech leader in mobile patient monitoring, and Education Partners, a growing continuing education platform. Earlier, he co-founded and served as CEO of International University, Europe’s fastest-growing personalized education provider with over 140,000 students. The portfolio today also includes a specialty coffee business and roastery.
Florian began his entrepreneurial journey in 1998 with Pepper, a technology and consulting company that he founded and grew to more than 300 employees across the globe. He holds a PhD in Strategic Management and an MBA-equivalent from Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, Germany.
Based in Sarasota, Florida, Florian lives with his wife Kat and continues to combine his global experience with a family-first approach to investing.

Daniel Schuetz
Daniel represents the next generation of NXTWAVE Capital’s entrepreneurial tradition. A proud Gator, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Florida, where he combined his studies with hands-on involvement in several digital business initiatives.
Daniel is a licensed real estate agent and actively manages the family’s property portfolio. With a natural talent for sales and relationship-building, he has consistently generated momentum for both his own ventures and the family’s businesses.
At NXTWAVE Capital, Daniel brings fresh perspective, digital fluency, and a results-driven mindset—ensuring the family’s legacy of entrepreneurship continues to evolve and thrive for the next generation.
